Need Advice Transfer case and Trans Drop

Hey guys

those of you that know me and my threads , Understand my situation,
i have a small oil leak from my Engine Rebuild thread, I am thinking its the rear Main seal.. the leak is serious...

so the truck is at school we managed to lift it and drop out the Drive lines,
Transfer case "bogg waner 1356" as of yesterday and today we drained the Transmission pan only, bolted it back up, and tonight we will drop the transmission to find the rear leak Some where in between the bell housing and the back of the engine , i am guessing its the rear main seal or core plug etc .

anyway While i have the Transfer case out, other then it being extremely dirty ... What MODIFICATIONS can be done to the transfer case while its down and out .... also I need tips On how to rebuild my front drive SHaft, Not axle. thxs.

Replace those u-joints.

What advice do you need for rebuilding the front end? How far do you want to go into it?

If the u-joints dont have play and are not seized, just leave them be. They are either good or bad.

As for your oil leak. The rear main seal is a 2 piece design and you need to drop the pan to change it

I'd just replace them if you never have. That is my opinion, so take it as you will. I just like to replace wearables if they're already out because it's easier that way. You do as you please, of course.
