Thats a dang good looking truck, I would have been happy to drive it just as she sits. well guess it would be better to have good brakes and steering.
looks like your doing it right the first time.

Where did you get the new drums and brake parts? keep up the progress and keep us updated with pictures,

The brake parts came from macauto. Now to find a water pump...

For a waterpump, you should be able to take it to NAPA or whatever is in your area and they can send it off to be rebuilt.

It sure is nice to see a 6 cyl getting restored. I just don't see very many of these.

Added a few more to the mix. Finally got the parking brake installed and working on the rear motor mount. Of course, there is one bolt that doesn't want to come out, so it's soaking overnight.

Very nice truck, dads 46 has the 226 cyl. in it to. Its a 50 model motor but I was surprised to see how good it really did run. I had a 239 flathead in a 51 F1 I had and I really couldnt tell a difference. I love to see these old motors still going. I'll have to get some pics up of it. Scott
