What do you think?

I picked up a set of wheels and tires from a '49 F1 and tried a test fit on the back of my '46. My wife (who will probably win) says to leave them red, as do several of my friends. I think it makes my truck look like a clown car! I will get over-ruled I'm sure. I'm also not sure about the width of the back tires. I'm thinking that the 245 is gonna be too wide. It fits nicely but I'm still not sure if it will rub if I put something in the back. Maybe it is because they are just so wide compared to the front (205)? Tell me what you owners of fine old Fords think. I do plan on white walls instead of this.

I think once you have whitewalls, I'm guessing you're going wide white, and trim rings they will look better. Personally, I like Tacoma Cream wheels on a green truck, but that's just me.

wheels

I have a set of 80s ford aluminum rims and 215-70s on them, it steers to hard with them,so sandblasted and painted the original 16s and put some used small tires on them..will install after do the brakes,,after 60 yrs, time for new shoes...LOL.
aftermarket rims make these old trucks look great though..

I want them a cream color but I think my wife will outvote me. I'm going with wide whites and trim rings no matter what color they end up.
