Is someone currently using a Banks or AFE cold air intake on the 2011 Ford 6.7 diesel? MPG increase ? Additional noise ?
I want to install one for the mileage increase with highway driving.
I have the Banks on an '08 but as far as mileage goes, you'll probably never notice it no matter which you go with. There are too many factors that come into play which can change your mileage from one day to the next and since the CAI doesn't increase the mileage by much, your likely to never notice a change.
However, if you plan on adding a tuner of some sort down the road, then you will want to add a CAI as well as the tuners demand more airflow then what the stock intake provides.
I can tell you the Banks didn't add any additional noise to my truck. The install was very easy and the finished result is very nice.
