Someone went to a fair bit of trouble to build the butt ugliest thing I've seen in a while. Torching the van up, bolting on a grab handle, bolting on a rusty bed, and the sweet rims. I bet his DD is a dodge...........
this is what the seller posted,it is just about as funny as the picture
THIS IS A NICE RUNNING 460 CID 4BBL IN A 1978 CHATEAU E250 VAN THAT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A TRUCK. IT HAS A 1/2 TON BED ON THAT IS HELD DOWN WITH STRAPS, BUT HAVE BOLTS TO PERMANENTLY FASTEN IT DOWN. A 3/4 BED WILL FIT PERFECTLY. DRIVES GREAT AND IS AN EYE TURNER. CALL OR EMAIL. 620-340-0934 WILL CONSIDER PARTIAL TRADE OF HANDGUNS, RIFLES, SHOTGUNS, ETC. 1200 OBO<!-- START CLTAGS -->
I would say it's a 1978 CHATEAU E250 VAN THAT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A JOKE. Half the body is held on by straps but he wants 1200 for it. He said he'd trade for guns though. Maybe he'd take a shotgun held together with epoxy for it. LOL
Now that is funny, but not quite as bad as one I saw in Coeur d'Alene on vacation. It was a similar van (80's E-series) that was also 'converted' into a truck. Everything from the middle forward was normal, but from the middle back it was torched down to just above the tail lights! He cut the rear doors down too, and had a load of 2x4s hanging out the back. It was pretty ugly, but I guess it worked for him!
Well there was one for sale round here a while back it looked weird but it was done nice it was a van in the front an a long bed in the back painted to match an everything. The guy wanted like $7,500 for it.
