Just curious,
are switchblades even legal state side? Also, do you know the blade length limit to carry? Never had a solid answer on that.. Usually carry some form of Buck knife when i go hiking...
That website is so "dense" that its kind of overwhelming to a certain extent. I have always wanted a real good switchblade for camping , etc. .....After watching the Godfather movies I thought it would be fun to take a trip up to NY and find one of those pizza places where the Mafia hit guys hangout and talk Shop. You walk in ...survey da joint ...walk up to the table....Grab the one name Luigi...pull him up by his tie then take out your switchblade and in a Swift upward movement ...cut all da buttons off of his silk shirt.....then Run like Hell....all the way back to texass(via greyhound). Well it's just a fantasy.....I can eat pizza and practice my Brooklyn accent.... fd

From what I understand, in Colorado, it's legal for a one armed man to carry a switch blade.
I keep a Kershaw Ken Onion knife on me all the time. Easy one hand "assisted" opening, liner lock. Lifetime warranty. Legal in most states. Keeps an edge for a very long time.
I prefer fixed blade sheath knives after seeing a buddy that had one close on his hand with a 350 lb black bear on top of him cut his thumb and surrounding muscle tissue right off. Never again, and blacks do attack.
I am starting to collect swords just dun have enough money to get any good ones. Smokey mountain knife works is a good place to look. Bud K is good to the best is Ebay though.
