300 serpentine belt conversion ??

I remember someone did it over on Ford Six Performance Home/Index. I think they just switched all the pulleys over. The other point of consideration is that you'd need a serpentine style water pump, since they rotate the opposite direction.

ive been reading some other forums and it looks like in some of the later years the started putting serpentine belts on like e250s and vans with 300 i6 motors i wonder if those will work

Serpentine belts also have a lot more grip, which is why the serpentine belt setup has one belt, whereas the non has two belts for the alternator.
The downside is, if you throw a belt, you pretty much lose everything.

well im going to the junkyard tomorrow to see if they have the parts ill keep everyone up to date on what im doing
