another performance efi 300 thread.......
i know its been done before but at a high cost. i know the speed density system cant keep up after a certain point in performance mods, but there has been a lot of guys push it anyways. i know the 300's arent fast turning rpm's engines. i was just wondering what you guys thought about this 300 for this application. note; i havent never rode in a hoped up 300 so i really dont know what they'll do. i know i like mine with some minor mods. so what im asking is for a lil more detail in modin these 300's. and what is a reasonable hp\tq to shoot for? keep in mind i would like to stay with efi and i will be doing most of the work and overseeing what i dont do.
my basic engine plan:
0 deck the block.
high performance ignition.
cam.
afpr.
bigger injectors if needed.
custom moding the upper and lower intakes.
major head work.
1mm bigger valves all the way.
i would like to start with this and later maybe add some rockers, a bigger tb, and maybe bore the block .30 with the rotating assembly fully balanced.
or would i be better off with a 351 or a 12v?
