new vehicle problem

Just got an 89 7.3 diesel. Oil pressure gauge doesn't work because of some wiring issues. Im putting in an after market gauge where can I put it without taking out the stock sending unit? Someone told me you can put it in another place on top of the motor. Anyone know where?

The way I would do it, is to get a1//8 pipe T and a short nipple. Remove the stock sending unit, screw the nipple into the T, then screw the other end of the nipple into the place you removed the stock unit. Then screw the stock unit into one open port of the T and the new gauge into the other port .

Is there a different location without touching the stock setup?

with all the fittings and some teflon tape it should take you about 10 min and keep both senders

theres some pipe plugs behind the oil cooler but its much easer to tee into the stock sender, thats what i did.
