Greg - that is a good looking truck! It is suprising how much you can load on these trucks, and not have the suspension sag all that much. Perhaps Ford was somewhat conservative in there spring ratings?

I think the steel they used back then was alot better.
It is kind of amazing to me, being almost 50 years old that the springs aren't junk.
