Converted my 76 scs to 4wd last winter. Hoping to have her painted and on the road in a couple months. I did mine by getting a donor truck and swapping the parts from that over to mine, using my frame. I wanted it to look like it came from the factory a 4wd, no frame cutting or frame swapping. Wasnt the worst job in the world................but definetly wasnt the easiest!! I took picture along the way and plan on starting a thread one of these days.

Yep, did it. I've got it running and driving, just needs exhaust and paint. I'm not sure why I did it.............the thing will probably never go off road. One of those things you do just because people told you you couldn't! LOL

 

C'mon dude...show the pics. Help me decide to keep my SCS.

I posted pics on here once and it was a nightmare!! I'm not the greatest with computers, but I'll get some on here real soon I promise. And I feel your pain 79..............I've been at my build almost 2 years!!! I just wanna DRIVE!! She goes in for exhaust next week so then I'll at least be able to take her for a good spin.
