I want to make sure I'm posting in the right place, so let me give a quick rundown.
Just acquired a 92 Bronco, and it has a bunch of "little" issues. First, I have various issues with ALL of the windows. I don't mind starting a thread for each issue, unless you guys will help me address them here as we go.
First, maybe lets look at the drivers window? It goes up and down, motor sounds smooth enough, but when the window reaches just about all the way down, it wants get all wobbly and acts like it wants to leave the track. I can tell that the PO used some kind of cheep aftermarket rubber runs.
The part of the track that goes down inside the door seems to be too far spread apart, not holding the window stable and in the track. I saw the bolts in the door skin that holds the brackets that house the runs, loosened them to see if I could pull the runs in a little to better guide the window, but there doesn't seem to be any, or just very little adjustment available to me.
How do I fix this issue? If you need pics, tell me of what and I'll post them.
there is a channel hooked to the bottom of your glass. inside this channel, there are 2 square plastic pieces that hook to the regulator. the plastic pieces are probably broken, or missing, so when the window comes most of the way down, it's trying to come off track. you should post questions like this in the 87-96 section, you will probably get more results.

Thanks for your response. The plastic end on the regulator is fine, and I lubed that track you are referring to just to make sure that it was moving back and forth without binding.
Like I said, the runs seem to be way too far apart for the window.
there is an adjustment, look at the door with the door panel off, towards the back, you see a bolt that a 7/16 wrench fits. loosen that bolt, and push the track in towards the window, then tighten it.
