I already have a set of Husky's for my 2011 which gets built on Monday.
I have found that these aftermarket flaps do a good job for keeping mud, rocks off the truck but not a trailer or 5th wheel.
On my 2006 I welded 2" tube steel to the rear frame and attached mud-flaps to them. That way I never had to deal with attaching/modifying an aftermarket set of flaps that slip over the 2" hitch. I will have the 2.5" Class V hitch which will make that option not an option.
I also don't want to mount to the rear bumper.
What ideas do you have?? What have you seen, heard others do??

OK.... I bit on the teaser photo... Who makes it, Is this your truck? Does it work? You can't zoom in close enough to even come close to considering it.

A little more info please
It's someone else's photo, but it's really just a full length flap like you see on the rear of motohomes. Usually made out of what looks like long bristles. I'm sure you could fit one to your truck and mount it with hanging chains or similar.
I purchased auxillary mudflaps on ebay. I installed a sleeve into the 2.5 in receiver. I then installed a simple 2 in trailer hitch. The hoizontal bars go parallel to the bumper and are the same height as the top of the receiver. The mud flaps then are attached to this horizontal bar.
Works great and is easy to remove. Check ebay and you will find them. With my sleeve, hitch, and mudflaps--about $200.00. I still have the regular Ford rear mudflaps in place all of the time. Use the auxillary only when I am towing my 5th wheel.
You can always get a reducer sleeve to make the 2 1/2" receiver into a 2" one.
Then, Enkay mudflaps are an option. I used an older style of Enkays when I had an Airstream several years ago and they were wonderful. I bought a 5th wheel in 2008 and intended to use Enkays also, but after buying new Enkays, I wasn't as happy with the new design as I had been with my old ones so I sold them.
For the past several years I had Duraflap mudflaps on the rear wheels of my 2008 F450 and they kept the front of my 5th wheel clean. Now, I'm getting a 2011 F350 DRW 4x4 and have ordered Duraflaps for the front and rear wheels.
I just took my set of rock tamers that connect through your 2" receiver hitch and cut them apart and mounted them to my truck. Never have to deal with them rocking and rattling on my hitch. AND i never have to deal with the 2" to 2.5" sleeve and trying to get the holes to line up
