Mud flap options

What are you guys doing for front and rear mud flaps? Id like a set that looks good on the truck and protects the body.

Post pictures with what you got, where you got them and how much they cost.

You might find some that protect the body but I doubt you'll find any that look good.

If I were going to install mudflaps, I'd use the Ford mudflaps unless someone can prove that others fit as good.

Duraflap will actually protect the body and are heavy enough to not curl up over time.

Like said before, nothing will look good.

My preference are husky liners. I picked them up through Summit Racing for about $36 a pair for my 2012 screw. Also used them on my 05 SD and on the fleet at work. They fit really great and only one hole per flap needs to be drilled through sheet metal(which i sealed with silicone). The fronts required one hole through the cardboard-like wheel well liner. The rest of the holes use factory holes which makes alignment easy.

Mine are from DuraFlap.com, and I do like the looks of them.
Best of all, I did not have to drill any holes in my truck to install them.
You can even get custom stainless steel designs added to them.
They are not cheap, but they sure do protect both my truck and trailer.
I have had them for a couple of years and they still wash up to look like new.

You may want to look into Weathertech too. They make some no drill mudflaps.

here are the Husky liners. I was sold on these when i saw my father's F-250 with the husky liners holding up an entire wheel well full of ice a few winters back. He'd walk around the truck while it was warming up and literally kick the ice until it fell off, and the mud flaps didn't budge.

My wife is not a fan of mud flaps, she doesn't like the way they look. Well i had purchased and installed these while i was out of town with my truck and it took my wife almost a year before she even noticed them. Not sure if that's because they match the color of the truck or because they don't look that bad. Either way we are both happy.

Hope this helps,
Q.

I believe i paid $35 per set, ie. front and rear set.

I've got the factory flappers on mine. Look good or not, they save somewhat from stone chips, mud slinging, etc. I've used ones from Ford on at least 7 trucks. I think the set of four on my '12 ran around $90 installed. I've never had a problem with ice/snow buildup.
Sorry about the dirty truck, but I think it's self evident the problem, that white crap!!!

Personally I like the factory mud flaps as I would hate to have rocks hitting the side of the truck and chipping the paint! I have the factory mud flaps on my Sequoia and like them and don't feel they detract from the looks of the truck at all.
