I have a 2002 PSD with 20,900 miles, I have noticed a small amount of oil coming from the bottom of the starter housing (not enough to drip).Any idea's what the cause could be, should I have it checked out ?

 

Check the top of the engine to see if the oil is coming from there. Most leaks occur here. Since you are under warranty let the dealer handle it.

hey beaborder this is ironic as ever. I have an 01 stroker with 29,000 on it an just 2 days ago i notice a leak in the same exact spot. There is oil from the starter running over to some sort of cover panel on the bottom of the bell housing/transmission area. Im not a mechanic and couldnt tell if it was coming from above the starter (couldnt see). Mine goes in to the dealer on 3/23. If you or anyone out there had the same problem let me know what your fix was.

Have your dealer put in some dye. The day I went in, they were out of dye! (go figure). Heading back in the next few days.
