Unbelievable...Bed find
So a guy comes into the store today looking to buy one of my 360's and tells me another guy 5 blocks from me has a rust free bed and tailgate behind his store. So I call him and go have a look.
Yep it's a rust free bed from a camper special. I cant believe all the work
I put into my original bed and daggumit there is one ready to go right here. Sonava.
Yes, it's coming home with me.
Since December I've managed to find 2 rust free doors and 3 extra rust free fenders since I bought the crappy jap parts. They are all being returned. Glad I stopped the body work on my 73 when I did.
I'll post pics tomorrow. It was to dark for good pics this afternoon.

Off all the "look what I've found's" I read about in here, this one tops the list for me. That's a great looking bed, and I was beginning to wonder if they even existed.

Yea I had a lucky week. Buy you know , I almost threw $4000 in the trash. Took it to look at a crew and the next day I was at the junk yard and noticed it was missing from my coat. Wife denied taking it. By the time I got home I was about to throw up. Thought for sure while I was cleaning out my truck that I had thrown it away and garbage pickup was that morning.
I was getting ready to call garbage co. and decided to have one more look in my truck.
Opened the pass door and there it was between the seat and door.
THANK GOD.
