Which tire to get?

Yeah, my michelins may as well be slicks if there's any snow out. I slid down my grandmother's driveway after I had parked it, with the e-brake and all. Her driveway is even that steep. I turned around after locking the doors and the truck was 15 feet further down the driveway than where I had stopped. But I live in southern California so that's only an issue when I drive to NC at Christmas.

These are my dedicated snow tires and so far they have been really good. I almost got M55's however availability was in issue at the time.

I've worn out 2 sets of geolandar at's on my dually 50-60k - great tire, good traction wet, dry, snow.
It had Steeltex's (now transforce) hwy tread when i got it. Long lasting, fair traction - low cost.
Had a set of Micheli LTX's on Excursion. Lasted forever, traction non-existent on anything but dry pavement. Useless IMHO...
NITTO Terra Grapplers. Great tire, quiet, long lasting, SMOOTH, good traction.
Next tires for Excursion will prolly be 285/75/16E Nitto Dura Graplers (soon!)

I looked at all of them last night an man you guys gave a good selection. So far I think I have it narrowed down to a Kelly safari, cooper, or nittro. Anyone have any experience with the general grabber A/T's?
