damn thing wont start

so monday i went to leave work to head home and it wouldnt start... so i replaced the starter first cuz the battery had plenty of juice, still no start. so i replaced the battery anyway just in case... still no start. i jumped the thing and and it started and ran for a few. i thought all was well, went outside and it wouldnt start again. plenty of gas, silinoid is new, battery is new and starter is new. when u turn the key it just clicks, but like i said the battery is new and so is the starter.... if u need more info just let me know. thanks

yup i checked the ground straps, and cleaned the terminals. the top blot was broke off, so the bottom bolt was the only one that was tight, i used a small C clamp to hold the top of the starter tight. could the starter not be in totaly right? could it be turned just a little bit? thus causing the bendix to not act properly?

when you say the selinoid is new, do you mean the on eon the starter itself or the starter selinoid on the fender? Is that properly grounded to the fender as well?

What's the condition of the battery cables? Cut a small piece of insulation off each cable- if the strands are dark, the cables are bad and need to be replaced.

I don't know if your truck has one but if so, have you checked the starter relay? I don't mean the solenoid- there could be a separate relay in a panel in the engine bay.
