i'm thinking rhino liner up to the upper body line when i get another dent that doesn't have as much sentimental value haha. my roommates painted a subaru legacy sedan with rhino liner. looks pretty good to be completely honest. one of my roommates also has a bronco with rhino liner up to the upper body line and he said it was one of the best decisions he made to rustproof and scratchproof his truck!

While I agree with everyone here that Line-X is fairly expensive, I liked the finish and the outcome of it's application on Buford. I had both the bed and the interior of the truck shot, as I figured it'd serve as both water proofer and a partial sound deadener.

If you don't mind me asking, how much $$$ did that set you back? I've been considering doing that myself.

I've had the above pic saved from when you 1st posted it. I LOVE the look - especially with the black truck! I'm using it as a guideline for where I want to line my supercab. While I'd love to go Line-X it unfortunately seems semi cost prohibitive with how much I want to cover

Have you finished or driven Burford yet? I'd love to hear how the Line-X does for sound deadening!

I'd have to go through my receipts, but I believe the entire job was in the $600 ballpark. Since I already had the entire truck media blasted both inside and out, the bed and cab interior were perfectly prepped for the application of Line-X.

To answer your question ChaseTruck, no I haven't finished Buford yet, and I've been bad about posting my progress. So as to not highjack this thread, I'm hoping to take some progress pictures this weekend, and post them to my build thread maybe by next week.

But back to the Line-X, it's spendy, but the finish was just what I wanted. Then again, pretty much everything on Buford has been spendy.....lol

Here is their site Al's Liner. DIY Truck Bed Liners!
Lookes awesome! Just bought a 75 F250 Ranger 4X2. It currently has a bedliner. Most likely will take out and did what you did.

Well S#&T, my truck is in the shop at this very moment getting a spray in bedliner. I didn't know about Al's, all I have ever heard about home DIY kits were bad so i decided to get it done. My wife's cousin is doing to job at his body shop so it won't be as expensive but S#&T i would have liked to do it myself. The product is called K2, and it has kevlar threads in it so hopefully it will be tough. I am new so i will try to get pictures up later if i can, how many post do u have to have?

I did almost as much as the above on my dads bumpside...and...it didnt do anything for sound deadening...the cab still acted like a resonance chamber. But the stuff i used was not a soft compound, it was very hard and may not have been the same "type" of liner as above.

What about UV resistance of the bed liner kits. Im tossing around the thought of doing the entire truck.Im going to look into Al's kit, thats tintable right? thinking of going Army green.I figure between bed liner and Por15 I should be able to make it impervious to New England weater.
