How to Increase Head Clearance
Hello, I recently purchased a 2011 F350 with the Lariat Ultra Package...this includes the moonroof.
I am 6'4" and noticing that my head almost touches the top. Of course if I slide over a bit towards the middle I have tons of clearance.
I have lowered the seat all the way down and still not much clearance.
Does anyone know a way to lower the seats more as there seems to be some room underneath?
thank you for much for your help.
Best Regards,

On my KR, there's no way to lower the seats b/c of the cooling mechanism underneath. I'm 6'6" and have *just* enough clearance. You get used to it. In 6 months and 16k of ownership, I haven't hit my head hard enough to bother me... yet

I test drove a 2011 F250 with the seat cooling option... made me feel like I had a nonstop wet-fart happening... I'm only 5'11" so headroom wasn't a problem. Short of taking the seats out and cutting down the base, I don't think there's much you can do... but I hope I'm wrong.

There's not a whole lot you can do, aside from modifying the seat frame or having a few vertebra removed.

the seat base is easily modified.
you could also cut the floor and lower it by around an inch, although that would be significantly more work.
my suggestion would be to get a junk yard replacement if possible and modify that one.
its much easier than you may think

The only thing I can think of is exercise to lose some of your butt muscle?
Just kidding. Hope they don't ban or shoot me here.
