93 E150 Doesn't Crank
I have a 93 E150 I need some help with. The van stopped in a parking lot and didn't start. It's ran flawlessly for years. Now when you turn the key, nothing, no lights on the dash no power to the windows, headlights come on, Key alarm sounds, Interior lights work, nothing else.
I can crank the motor by jumping the solenoid. Engine does not start with the switch in the on position. Replaced the ignition switch on the column where the harness plugs into and it did not fix the problem. Nothing different if in N or P position. There are no aftermarket alarms to interfere.
What is the most likely problem or what series of tests can I do to diagnose the problem?
