Motor oil-trans oil temps

Motor oil-trans oil temps
I just turned a 1000 miles and have not yet towed. I am seeing consistent engine oil temps around 204-208 degrees cruising at 65 on a 70 degree day. The same conditions seem to produce trans oil temps around 175-180 degrees. Seems a bit high for an drive-train that is not being taxed at all. Is this in the ballpark of norm?

I tow all the time at interstate speeds and Mr. Wolf is right on. My oil temp does climb to 215 max but generally resides in the 208 range. Trans stays in the 190's.
Adding weight/load to these engines does not really effect them that much unless you are going to climb a big mountain and keep your foot on the floor.
MPG is the same, when you tow light or heavy, fuel consumption will not change that much. Towing will put you in the 11's, 10's at worst, 14's at best. We fight aerodynamic drag much more than we fight pulling weight.
