Sounds like we need a gtg in the future to get some work done on these trucks. Maybe a two day event or something. I would like to have one out here I am thinking end of April or early May. I will know more on timing once I get all my goodys ordered up for the truck.
I have a list to do at a GTG too, though it is a little more ambitious than checking for coolant leaks and bolting a few parts on............

Edit: speaking of which I need a box if anyone sees a good clean short box.
I'll keep an eye open for one, they seem to be a lot harder to come by than the long boxes that's for sure.

Yeah, much easier to remove 6 or 8 bolts than mess with cutting spot welds and lining the new panels up and re welding everything.
Hey guys! If one of these GTG's are late enough into May, I'll most likely be there! I have a strange lean in my truck lately... Someone told me my springs might be going bad... if I could risk the drive back home again, I'd probably wait til then, unless it's something that could prove detrimental to the health and wellness of my truck.... I could probably do my shocks at the same time.

Ouch, those are spendy! I didn't even think about the MN truck part.
Do you have any connections through work Dave? Also, long bed or short bed?

Yeah Mike you for sure have a project there! I am hoping my up pipes arent as rusty as yours and as far as I can tell they are not. If we end up doing yours here you may have to pull your camper with and spend the week here!

Hey Jake! I am thinking my gtg will be in early May but I am sure we can have another one later on! With your truck sagging I would start taking measurements from side to side and see what part is sagging. Make sure something isn't broke.

Well if they are bad enough you should be able to hear them. If you are driving down the road and swerve left and right or going around curves the sound should change. If it does that is a pretty good sign of a bad wheel bearing. I am not sure how to desribe the sound exactly......
Jay I can't believe you had problems with the Cryo rotors, I take it they are out of wty. I have had mine 3 1/2 years and even had one get up to 300 degrees with a seized caliper and they are still solid. I got mine from a place in Burnsville........Maybe it wasn't fully Cryo'd......Just a thought...
It just looks really BRIGHT, could be the pic though.
Hello to the rest of you......
Hey Tom!! How are ya doing?

If your bearings were bad you should be able to hear them when you are cruising at highway speed. Pretty distinct sound. Maybe the problem is all the extra sounds you get down there in the city! You should come out here to the piece and quiet and then it will be real easy to hear everything! LOL You can have supper while your out here as well!
