Good morning all. Just dropped the fam off at the airport. 3 weeks of freedom while I gut the bathroom.

You betcha. I've done it all before but might have tile questions as i have never tiled a wall or ceiling before and only received help with a floor.

Greg make sure you use a waterproofing membrane in the tub/shower area and I have started using a product called Grout Once ( grout sealer ) for the grout and it works GREAT.

As far as the shower goes I'm not even doing the whole thing, just over the surround and on the ceiling to protect against moisture and what not. I had not been planning on putting a membrane over it since it was such a limited area.

O OK.
Just make sure you use a good thinset for the ceiling or they will end up on the floor.
