LOL, one would be retarded for using the phrase grocery getter these days, what, no one in another vehicle of a make/model can get groceries in their chosen vehicle.

Whats this, did I stumble into a crybaby forum instead of one about trucks?

Where did I say I thought I was cool? That seems to be what you seek, the attention and approval of others. You are going to put a roll pan on, fancy paint....hahahahaha. Decorate your house not your car fool. My truck has a couple simple changes to make it more capable for me. I didn't make those changes to be cool. I will leave that to morons like yourself.

I am over compensating because of my choice of tires? I wonder where that leaves you with your list of mods? Original? Now that is funny! Every mexican within 100 miles of here has already done what you propose. I think you should go for it, the rest of the sheep will find your "orginal" mods the bomb! Original would mean not buying parts from autozone to "mod" your Expedition. Good Luck putz.

Trying to get back to the original idea of the thread here, I think it's great that you want to fix up your 97. I just don't know why you'd want to lower a 4x4? I have the same year Expy in 2wd and I want to make it a pre-runner. I (just a personal thought)feel that your truck would be awesome with a 6" lift and some big mudders but hey different strokes for different folks. So have at er and please post some pics of the build. Very interested in the build and the final outcome. Don't worry what other people say, EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion, right or wrong.

Keep us posted of what you do and the results. There are a lot of people that read these posts for information so keep the updates coming. I say do what you want. Your money, your business. Good luck.

PS. If you want to keep BIG GREENIE quiet - don't respond to any of his posts and stay on topic. If you don't feed the fire - it will die out!

Well said fordno1, understand what you mean but there are those times where its so hard to not point out the humor he brings. not saying all his posts are helpful to ones that ask certain questions but well as in this thread here, he just brings on the humor and in older threds, he brings it on to himself and doesnt even know it.
