i have a 94 full size bronco with a 302 carb engine.what trans wil i have to use?the trans is a automatic.thanx for the info.greysreak.................

 

Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. We will do our best to get you the most accurate info we can.

First... a 94 that is carb'd? When was it swapped? The original transmission will NOT work since your truck has no computer anymore (or if it does, it doesn't work). E4OD was OEM in 94. There are a LOT of transmissions that were put behind the 302 over the years. Are you looking at an automatic or manual?

AOD
E4OD (This one is out unless you buy a stand-alone E4OD controller).

OEM manuals that came in the Bronco over the years:

T-18
NP435
M5OD

I am going to assume that you will be putting in the same type transmission (auto or manual) that the truck had originally.
