1999 e-150 conversion towing
I am looking at getting something to tow my trailer with and peaking my interest lately has been the e-150 conversion van for multi-purpose use. My trailer is a 1400lb. 6X12 enclosed trailer loaded with about 500lbs. of equipment, getting it around 1900-2000lbs. total that would be pulled. I'd be putting a class 3 hitch on the van. Could it do that and at least 4 people inside?

I pull a 5X10 with 600+ pounds on it with three people inside and loaded with at least couple hundred pounds of gear. You'll be fine, I tow mostly out of OD and run around 75mph. Do 70mph up any hills easy. It's not happy per say but it's not screaming either. You could slow down for upper 60's and it would be completely content.
