Anti theft light

Okay so this is very odd to me. Well we had a aftermarket radio installed in May they did a terrible job cut into circuits and cut wires they should of. But we brought it to the dealership to get fixed cause some days the anti theft light flashes and it wont start so we got a new key made. That didnt fix it so we got are radio rewired cause they said that was the cause but that didnt fix it either i do almost all the work on are cars but cant figure this out anyone have any ideas. What it will do is some days run fine and other days start then the anti theft light flashes and it dies.

I would suspect the wires that run from under the dash, up the steering column, and to the antenna coil around the ignition switch. Maybe it's as simple as a connector not plugged in tight.
