question about UVCH

I will be checking my uvch . I am not having any problems it will be preventitive. My question is do you still put in the quarters if it is not loose? and what else would you do while you have the valve covers off? Thanks

I would still put the quarters in while you are there. You also want to inspect all the wiring to make sure nothing is starting to rub through. After that, retourqe the injector hold downs, then retourqe the rockers. You may also want to consider new MOTORCRAFT glow plugs since you are there.

Tom hit the nail on the head. TQ numbers are-injectors-120 inch lbs or 10 ft lbs,and the rocker arms are 20 ft lbs. Do the glow plugs and 50c mod definately, you don't want to go back in there again. Unless your putting in some big new injectors. HAHA

Any motorcraft glowplug or a specific one? How much would injectors cost and what would they do for the truck? I have done the following already 6637, 4 inch turboback ,ccv mod. I am waiting on the frx from Clay and doing the hutch/harpoon soon. Thanks

glow plugs

You can get the glow plugs through Clay, his price is better than anyone I could source locally.

Big injectors require a tuner with custom tunes to make them go, dont think i would worry about tht one quite yet.
