OLD Burnt UVCH...

Does anybody have a donor old, burnt non-usable UVCH? I need a injector connector off one to replace my IPR connector.
Saw a post that the Inj. connector on a UVCH is the same.

Any help appreciated.

What is wrong with yours? The connector go bad?

It's pretty simple harness.

Mine was real bad . I took it out & spliced in some new wire, soldered the connectors in the weather pack part , heat shrink tube & put it back in ...Been a couple years since the repair ...

You may be able to take it apart & put heat shrink tube on the wires where the insulation is missing ...

Yep, due to age, Diesel fuel, the connector and the water tight seal is mush....I had a miss situation and I pulled over and check all things electrical and wiggled the IPR harness and Killed the engine. Bad Connector...IPR new. Scanned with AE and all other data looked normal.

Yes, that may be the best option...
...Wiggle a wire harness and kill the engine...but it throws no code or CEL..on the IPR. Guess that just isn't supported or has a sensor to throw? on the AE? Just rammblin here!

The actual plug itself is the same, sorta.

As you can see on my IPR connector, I've repaired mine with heat shrink as well.

If they only did it like that at the factory. haha.

The actual plug is maybe the same, or damn close, but as you can see, the clips and the back of the plug is different.
So I guess if you want to zip tie your IPR connector on, thats cool.
