Why the difference?

When I purchased my truck the PO gave me several spare parts one being two IH 1830844C93 J7F harness'. I looked on Clay's site and the UVCH states that you need four sets to do both sides. The IH have four pairs of connectors each as opposed to Clay's having two pair each. Am I mixing apples and oranges with this Newby question?

The OBS trucks with a 7.3 have 2 plugs under each valve cover (4 total). The 99 and up trucks have 1 plug under each valve cover (2 total). Is this what you're referring to?

Make sure your under the 99-03 and not the 94-97 section. Sounds like you have the correct ones.
