I'm looking to use it for a daily driver/tow/fast rig so I'd like a combination that has good power and gets atleast 10 mpgs. I will be running a 4spd with a ranger torque splitter 4x4, and 4.10 gears.

COMP Cams High Energy cam and lifter kits are designed for street engines with an 8:1 to 9:1 compression ratio. They also work well with all stock components, including intakes, exhaust manifolds, and carburetors. These kits offer good increases in both gas mileage and power throughout the rpm range for most street applications.

COMP Cams Magnum Double Roller Timing Sets
I don't think I will go with headers I don't wanna mess with torquing them down all the time. I will run a recurved motor craft dizzy. Holley 600 CFM carb as its brand new. Single exhaust with a thrush.
I don't know how much you're willing to spend but you should just go with the Edelbrock Performer RPM 460 Power Package, it's only about $700 and will get you enough power. ONly thing you'd need is the Spring kit and pushrods then. I had one on my '79 Bronco and loved it.
Straight up timing with a double roller
Upgraded cam
Headers with single outlet
Roller rockers
Holley Commander TBI 750 CFM unit
35" tires
4spd bw t19 trans with a ranger torque splitter
4.10 gears
I figure with these mods I can get 10-16 mpg out of this truck. I just need to know what I should buy for a daily driver/tow/fast truck. I want a combination of all three if possible.
I would recommend headers. HUGE improvement. Get a good set of header gaskets, like Percys. You can always get some of those stage 8 locking fasteners if you have trouble keeping them tight, which you shouldn't if you torque them down right the first time.
Good to know thats really the only reason I didn't want them is everyone I talked to in person says they are sucky because they had to tighten them down all the damn time. What would you reccomend? In terms of headers?
