So I was looking on the keystone automotive website tonight and i can get an 05 grill for $80 and harley 1 piece headlights for $100 and i was wondering what i would have to change to be able to run them on my 04. any help is greatly appreciated.
i dont remember what it is called but my buddy at a body shop told me on his he had to get the 05 front end deal that the headlights bolt up to. its a fiberglass thing that the grill sits on and stuff. simple to change out just dont remember what it is called
I did some research, wanted to do it to my 04 but have not, you need the bumper, bumper brackets, headlights, headerpanel "fiberglass light support talked about above, headlight wiring adaptors, bumper cover, grill. kinda forget the rest but it is in the links, the center link has a grill and lights that are made to fit in 04 with out doing the bumper and other changes.
hope this helps
here is the 05 headlights and grill to fit in with 04 bumber, sorry for random replys, i did alot of research a while ago, 04 grill is loosing crome so want to upgrade to 05 style.
As the others have said. It all depends on how much work you want to do and how many more pieces you want to buy. The cheapest route is to trim your existing header panel to fit the new lights and pick up the wiring adapter to run the new bulbs. Then trim the bottom of your new grill and put it all together.
Otherwise you can buy a new header panel and a newer front bumper so you don't have to trim the grill. You can get the wiring pigtail adapters from dfuser.com. They also have instructions with pics on their site on how to trim the header panel.
