Robb, how big is the PIPES for your duals?? Not the tips, the pipes.. Bet if you had 5" pipes you'd have to move the spare. There really isn't much space under there for dual 5" pipes.

You sure about that? The Diamond Eye duals on my SD cleared the spare. I was going to put their duals on my OBS too but not if I can't leave the spare underneath.
Just called Diamond Eye, they said their dual kit should clear the spare... FYI.
I have a buddy with a 01 sd and has 4in straight pipe with a 45* coming out in front of the rear passanger tire I think that's where I'll run my exhaust if and when I do it

I have slammed quite a few things into the Y pipe for my stacks.. Yet there are no dents in the pipe or anything. A couple melted plastic bottles maybe, but the stacks haven't kept me from hauling anything in the last 3 or 4 years. Thought I'd throw that out there.
