Ok...So i listed my single on craigslist...and boom a call hours later. Didnt know what to do, told him it was sold hahah. Sooo Now im really thinking....Do i do a sinle 7in chrome mitre, or a 4 or 5 inch straight pipe in the stock location...or Dual behind the tires 5inch...
That's what I have and love 'um. Unique cause you don't see a lot of PSD's with duals (mainly because with one exit from the turbo... there is really no point to a dual system... but I like symmetry!) Mine is Tymar DP into 4" stright pipe, splits before the spare tire, then into 5" slash cut tips. All done by 'lous' custom exhaust in brocton ma. think it was about 375 installed, 5yrs ago(I still don't have a welder and I'm not a fan of clamps)
For whatever its worth, I've never liked the pipe in the bed because I haul stuff. I've always figured whatever I was hauling would end up smashed into the pipe. I'm a fan of just chucking that wood into the bed and letting it land wherever.
I do like the toolbox look though.
I had a tonneau cover on my Ranger (when that was my only truck) and I was constantly taking it off. Yeah, it looked good. But it was PIA every time I loaded the truck because I had to take it off, store it somewhere, and make sure the weather was above freezing when I tried to reinstall the cover. I finally just quit putting it back on after about 2 years. Maybe I should put it back on since I bought the 250...anyway just my $0.02.

Thanks for the info!!! Yea, imm really thinkin of going back to the stock location. Im soo undecided.
Do the 7" mitre cut stack... You already have the hole in the bed. You can't do 5" duals... They don't make the kit. You can do 4" duals with tips. But keep in mind that aint cheap. Also if you do duals, You have to lose the spare and throw that in the bed anyways.
I just talked to my buddy...(who has a cummins) and he has a sinle 8in mitre..And he bitches about out dirty his cab gets. Said next time he buys a stack its going to me a aussie...But his trucks a smokey pig. Think im going mitre!

if i have to vote for one i choose stack. but i like mine dual 3" pipes 3" glass packs and angled 45 degrees right behind the cab and in front of the back tire
any way you can get a video sound clip of that exhaust? always wanted to hear what a glass pack sounds like on a diesel..
Fair enough. If you buy a kit, you have to lose it.
You sure about that? The Diamond Eye duals on my SD cleared the spare. I was going to put their duals on my OBS too but not if I can't leave the spare underneath.

My spare sits in the bed.
Chase, I thought you were going to 35" tires anyway... Just throw the spare in the bed.
I have slammed quite a few things into the Y pipe for my stacks.. Yet there are no dents in the pipe or anything. A couple melted plastic bottles maybe, but the stacks haven't kept me from hauling anything in the last 3 or 4 years. Thought I'd throw that out there.
Robb, how big is the PIPES for your duals?? Not the tips, the pipes.. Bet if you had 5" pipes you'd have to move the spare. There really isn't much space under there for dual 5" pipes.
