Does anyone else have the Diversi-Tech adjustable aluminum ball mount? I ordered one with the 6" drop and want to be sure I still have enough ground clearance. It looks like it hangs down and would catch on stuff if I am dragging my trailer through the brush. I may adjust it to where I need it and then cut the rest off if I need to. Don't have the truck yet so I am just guessing. TIA.

I have the 4" drop. The reason you stated is why I chose the 4. Just a FYI that the actual ball is steel. I was bummed to learn that.
My trailer requires a 2" drop to be level. i have a 4x4 SWB Crew cab with 20" tires. I had a 4" drop and a 2" extra height ball. Hitch bottomed out backing up steep driveways. Good luck.
Yeah Sarge, I saw in your signature that you had one and sent you a message on your public page but you probably haven't seen it if you haven't visited your Control Panel. It sounds like you have the same one I ordered. Do you have the double ball also? Do you have the factory lift height? And do you worry about dragging that inverted ball or does it have plenty of clearance? Thanks.

i have the DT-ALBM6625 on my f-450 dually, the 4" one would have been fine, but the 6 hasnt drug or hit anything yet tho. i keep the ball part up almost flush with the hitch when not towing.
