Horn ring question

The previous owner of my 68 Ranger swapped in an aftermarket steering wheel that I would like to replace with a stock one. He had to cobble up a horn button on the dash as he couldn't get the new one to work for some reason...

I have a stock steering wheel, and am now looking for a horn ring. Does anyone know what years will work on a 68 three spoke wheel? Are there any other vehicles that have the same horn ring? I'm wondering if, for example, the horn ring from a mid 60's Galaxie or other full size car would work if I swapped out the center emblem piece?

Also, if someone has a picture of the correct ring, I would really like to see one.

Pat I think it will. Several of the truck and car wheels were the same, and so the horn rings.

My problem is that the only yard close by that has these old trucks is not too keen on letting people stroll through the yard..

I have got another yard that I'm planning a road trip to, as soon as I can get a free weekend, and the weather co-operates.
