What would you do if...

You caught someone messing around with your pickup?

I was leaving college today walking to my girlfriends car with her. On the opposite sidewalk with parking spaces, I heard a kid say "Effing mini van." and proceed to throw water or something on it. I don't assume it was his as him and his friend kept walking passed it. I looked at my girlfriend and told her that I would kill someone if they did that to my truck. (After I get it finished of course). Its not necessarily the monetary value sure I will have a substantial amount of money in my pickup, and I do know its a pickup designed for work but I just don't get people jacking around with other peoples stuff. I really hope something like that or something trying to steal something from my truck or key it and I catch them never ever happens. I just know that it will not be very good.

Not sure what I would do. I caught a guy eyballing my truck (the inside) in an Ace Hardware parking lot. He quickly looked away, I don't know if he was admiring the truck, or if he was scouting for valuables...

I'm not generally an "I'm gonna kick your a$$" kinda guy, but if I had caught the ***** that slashed 30 some odd tires in my neighborhood a few weeks ago, I would have come out swinging. It's not because it's my truck, as opposed to my DD or my wife's van, or the fact that it cost me money, it's simply the fact that you just don't screw with other peoples stuff. It's just basic human decency. Now, I don't think I'd get too worked up if someone threw water on my vehicle, but still, if it's not yours, leave it alone.

The whole principal isn't the water deal. Will it hurt the paint not likely, however if it was corn syrup in mountan dew or something similar and clear that wouldn't be so good. None the less I will have a substantial amount of money in my pickup when its all said and done roughly 1/2 the amount of years I am old and I'm 19 haha (in thousands). But I guarantee I will know everything I need to know about car restores and I won't find another person who has this same truck guaranteed.

I live over in Everett and keeping track of the meth heads, thieves, vandal punks and general nuisances is a full time job. Its also against the law to leave a car parked on the street in one place for over 72 hours. They went to my truck and marked big X's on the tires in some kind of grease paint. It doesn't seem to come off the sidewalls. What the hell do I do when its cops doing it?!?

20 years ago or so I did caught some punk slim jimming my car once, bashed his head into the drip rail a few times before he relized I was there. He ran off and I left to find a hose to wash the blood off. Bet that jerk will think about doing that again.

Years later I had some old fart throw alot of garbage into my 84 F250's bed from his car, I just watched and when he went to the store I retured his crap AND LOTS MORE back into his car. I bet those oily rags were fun to clean up. I did leave a note telling him that was a bad move on his part.
