I have a 1984 F150, l6, 4 spd, 4 x 4 pickup. Come spring, I will have a 1986 Bronco, v8, auto. As I have n place to store the Bronce long term, nor money to have two trucks on the road, what should I keep from the Bronco? So far I am thinking of keeping the hood, fenders, doors, bumpers, dash asembly, and rims. Anything else I should consider?
Turn signal switch
Windshield washer pump, wiper motor (and maybe the wiper transmission)
Rear tail light lenses, replace yours if there's not 84-TK molded into the numbers
HVAC controls (if non-AC)
Parking brake cables (maybe, depends on condition)
Front brake calipers ( if same as yours unless the bleeder screws are frozen in)
Starter solenoid
There are things my truck needs, which is why I inquired about it. I would not sell the bronco, as it has set for many years. Thank you for the additional parts to see about keeping. If I had the means, I would love to fix up the truck and keep it. The body is decent for what I have seen soo far, and the interior manly needs deodorizor.
