ngk iridium spark plugs
I'm not disin NGK's or BOSCH"S, but i have friends with some awesomly fast rides, one is a low 9's 1/4 ml. street leagle ride, and hes 3 time track champ. and has had his car featured in super ford mag. all these guys including my self run autolites,
so it hard to convince me any of them or worth the money, IMOP if i were gona upgrade it would be autolites platinum version of there standard plug.
it's human nature that for some reason people think if it cost more it has to be better! bottom line is either the plug fires or it dosent! Just my thoughts. DW

DW's just about hit it perfect here. You don't need platinum, in fact the platinum plug will delaminate under the stress of a high energy ignition. The only place where platinum or irridium is of benefit is if the OEM system requires them. Anything else is just a waste of money. I do prefer NGK's over Motorcraft or Autolite, the v-shaped electrode seems to help a bit. Instead of buying expensive plugs, just gap yours as much as possible, because that's the only impact that a spark plug should have on performance. TK
