I have a 1986 F150 5.0 MFI 2WD. I have been fighting a fuel issue for a month. The truck runs but only at an idle, anything above that and it stumbles or stalls. I replaced the rear pump and sending unit( it was bad), the frame mounted pump, the fuel filter and pressure regulator. After I removed all the old parts I blew the fuel lines out with compressed air. At idle it holds (20"hg) vacuum, fuel psi is 41 psi, performed a cylinder balance test it was fine. I check for voltage at the pumps, and voltage drop. What am I doing wrong, please help.
Thanks, 86F1502WD

Yeh man I checked for codes it was one of first things I did, I am just frustrated I like my old truck but not so much right now. It's an old light duty truck the milage isn't bad, when it runs. But it has me against the wall right now. I have been asked if I have a blockage, I have blown the whole system out with compressed air, twice. I hate to say it but I don't know of another test to try. Any Ideas.
Thanks frustrated, 86F1502WD
