NO... the C6 is a fully mechanical transmission no electronic controls at all. If this is a race only truck you should seriously consider swapping one in, there is no overdrive but that doesn't get used in racing so it doesn't matter. To eliminate the codes that would then pop up with the E4OD removed simply replace the computer with one from a truck that has a manual, C6, or AOD transmission.
I dont know how to put the pics in to my post here so i loaded them into my garage for you to check them out. i kept the lines over the dizzy so it offered protection from water and worked out good, no misses all yr. thru 7 races.
my plan for this yr is a hard tub attached to the right fender and the flex pipe to it so as to allow the motor to flex, solid hard lines dont work, they break to easy and last thing i want is a busted line in 4 ft of water. lol
Thanks...harbor freight ratchet straps....the new redneck duct tape. lol makes for quick battery changes. so i can put the maf sensor on plate in the cab and that run wont hurt it? really dont want it under the hood.
oh, forgot doing the hard lines to maybe keep air flowing faster and more away from the headers.
the only thing that i would worry about is that air tends to move like a spring and you might not get the most accurate readings, but they could be miniscule. also your ducting would need to be leak free.
I myself wouldn't worry too much about it being in the engine compartment, as they are fairly tough, about the only thing that does them in is unfiltered air.

ok thanks for the idea. next time the yard i know is crushing some of the v8 exploders, i mean explorers i will grab all the stuff i need and get on it. i can always switch back right? so what would it hurt?
