[quote=arctic y block;9976170]Ya got a nice truck Phil. I like what ya are doing. Except for maybe the last set of wheels.[/quote

Thanks. I love the truck - just trying to get wheels/tires and some fine tune points like I want. I agree with you on the last set of wheels/tires - they just don't get it - that damned little "test" cost me about $1800 - could have had that set of True Spokes!! ha ha

True Spokes? Than ya would of had to clean em. The old covers ya had on are a lot easier to clean. A least they will fit in the dish washer.

ha ha - yep, dishwasher safe. Hoping Brian can do me a photoshop of those wire covers with wide whitewalls. I think that might be just the look I'm after.

Sounds like others can see the red in the grille as well. For some reason my computer is messing with the images and they look washed out when I open them on my computer.

Glad it worked out

I doubled the white wall size. I think they look great with the dish washer spokes. I love this look. This one gets my vote.

OOPS... Should've been here https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-complete.html

All right. I like the Dishwasher spokes and white walls. We have a winner.

Now, years later when someone will say " Dad why do they call them thar wheel covers Dishwasher spokes?" Will anyone remember where it all started. Another FTE first added to the list with "Monkey Face" and the others.

Do you think this could rank up there with terms like iPad and TiVo and TEA PARTY? We may really be on to something here. I can see it now - a whole new industry may be started from this one FTE Thread. And Artic, you will have to be known as "the Founding Father".

AH Shucks Phil!! But HiddenFFY gets the credit not me. He used it first uncensored.

I have been looking at yer Bed Rails. If ya would look in my album at the ones on my Uni and tell me if ya think they are the same. They was on her when I found her in the barn and was told they came off a Dodge wagon roof for the luggage rack. But they sure look like Ford Ranger Rails to me. When ya got time to look please let me know. If they are Ford than the only thing not Ford on Her is the tilt steering.

Oh! And it's Arctic. Don't know Artic

Style B with them Dishwasher covers, the red center cap would really set them off. I would sure hope HiddenFFY can chop them into the pic of your truck. Would need to see them on Her.

Heck the style B would look good on anything. And the a on like 47 and older. Maybe up to a 50 sedan.

Sorry ArCtic! I don't think those racks are off a Ford truck - there are too many support brackets in the mid-span. Mine have only one center support. Mighty sweet lil truck though - even if it is part Dodge.

Yeah, I've been looking for the red centers for those DW Spokes but haven't found any yet - or even a new set of DW's with red centers - all I can find are blues (Ford I guess), but that damn red center would be the ticket. Diamondback Classics makes these tires - replica's of ones used on "big cars" (caddy's and lincolns) in the 60's-70's.

Ya Dodge rails. But the worst is the Monty Carlo tilt steering. First to find a set of Ranger bed rails than a Ford tilt steering for her. And thanks Phil she is sweet to me like yours is to you.
