Here's an older one of mine with the six speed shifts evident. The ICP spikes when I get off the throttle to shift. This was a few years ago so it's likely worse now... T1 me!

Yes, you shouldn't have spikes anywhere. The test is run under WOT.

For comparison, here's my old stock pump in 80e

Thanks that's alot what mine looks like! Even with my new pump. But I think we've determined that there are some issues going on with my injectors.

I second what Tom said.

I know you made a trip to Eagle Point but that's not far enough.

How about a quick round trip to Key West.

I've burnt up half a tank a fuel running around town, I haven't flogged my truck for fun like this in awhile!

Jeff, you have to remember that with the 6 speed manual, Andy is lifting for each shift.

Andy, what would be more effective for data log purposes is a WOT run in 3rd or 4th gear from 1000 rpm to redline.

Yep, well aware of that, I thought I was answering Bulla. I agree, I would put it in 4th or 5th and then do a WOT run to measure.

I hear ya, but really it's just going to show more of the same- every time RPM goes above 2500 the ICP falls below 1500. I guess I could do a long run and try to make it go under 1000 and I think it might have on my last trip towing out of Bakersfield towards Vegas on 58.
