we put down more mulch around the front of the house and around a tree in the yard, I trimmed the "bird planted" trees in part of the fence, I would have a long, long way to go, if I wanted to clean up both of them, we cleaned house and had an open house showing yesterday, we also hauled some more furniture and extra stuff to the storage unit.

I tried all day to get back home so I could finish up fixing the wife's van, I even made arrangements to finish up a few calls in Lawrence and then take some personal leave off in the afternoon, but then a call came in, down in Emporia that neither one of my other two techs had a chance of fixing, so I had to run down there. I did make it home by 5, but then got paged at 8 while working on the wife's van. I got the new hoses put in, and antifreeze topped off. I took it for a drive, and watched the temperature guage. It nearly overheated according to the guage, but then must have burped because it quickly dropped back down, and then maintained a perfect temperature. I will check the level again this morning before taking the kiddos to school, to see if it pulled some back from the overflow. Otherwise, no leaks that I can see, but it still smells like burned antifreeze. What a pain in the ****..

Our neighbors across the street have a huge garage sale. (not the ones we dislike) This made Julie nervous, so she looked it up and found that it is listed as a moving sale.. she paniced. That means they will be listing their house soon, which will make it huge competition for our house, to sell. So Julie got on the phone with our realitor to see what we need to do to get our house sold, the realitor said that our house was reasonably priced and the only thing that people have given for feedback is that its in the wrong neighborhood, and some of the rooms are small. She then came up with the idea of landscaping the house, and trying to make it look more appealing from the outside, so we are going to tear out a bunch of bushes today and plant new ones along with new shrubbery.. Should be a great day!!

except.. its only supposed to be 106 degrees today..

no, we have been here for 6 years, we have had the house for sale since March.

We did do the landscaping yesterday, and I hope to get before and after pictures posted before too long. Big changes!

Well yesterday got the trailers new springs, greaseable bolts, pivits, and breakaway battery replaced thanks to Chad, Ed, and Garrett for the help.
Then last night pulled the gas tank on Green. Tonight hopefully get the fuel lines disconnected and new fuel pump in.
