Leaf Spring Hangers ...Source?
Trivia question:
What part is the same part from 1961 - 2003 and can be found on all automatic transmission Super Duties, Rangers, F100s and F-150s?
Is it the brake pedal pad? I just saw some commercial for a 2003 mountaineer ( I think that's what it was) and the brake pedal pad looked the same as my '78.

I was wondering, your looking for the REARmost spring hangers correct? What yr is yr truck? after painstaking work, i located a set of NEW spring hangers. Yes, the part # is off of an 80's truck i believe. I think that I paid 40 bucks per i think. I have pics of them installed on my DEAD project truck--stopped working on it bec i need a good welder and i dont trust just anyone. Drop me a line and ill send ya the link to my site with the pics. If that is what you want, ill even get ya some part #'s (that is, if the weather didnt destroy the #'s) LOL

i couldnt find the FRONTS either so i know what you mean about frustration. Sure, I could go to the junkyard and burn the rivits out of a used set, but I dont prefer to go that route at all. I was thinking, do you think that a proficent steel fabricator could make some? Just an idea. the reason that my project is dead is because I need those cab mounts that are rivited to the frame. Mine are totally shot from the east coast winters here and I have been told that they are an integral part of the frame and CANNOT be replaced. I totally disagree because like anything, I believe that something can be made! If you have any ideas on this, let me know bec if i cant find a solution soon, Im gonna chop up the project out of sheer frustration!!!
