35s would be as biggest id go ever. But I like the way it sits now. I got 33s on my truck with no lift. What a lot of people never bother to think about is backspace. I've read on here people sayin 33s will rub the radius arm. The 33s and rims I had before didn't rub anything at all. Now I have a dif set of 33s and dif rims and it does rub the radius arms
Another thing is the tires that are on there now are bfg's wich always measure small. A 33" bfg will measure around 31.7" inches. So keep that in mind when you purchase new tires.
Thanks guys. It's not a Hi-Boy (I wish). It has about a 4" lift and I like having alittle space in the fenderwell. My Superduty has 37s and there is plenty of room. I am just tryin to find the perfect look. I think that 35s will look good. I have looked at hundreds of pics, but trucks sit diff and it's hard to gage lol.
You've already got the lift for 35's so you might as well go with taller tires.
You swapped out the grill, looks good! I'm itching to get my '78 grill swapped out in the next couple weeks.
Yeah I swapped it out since the truck was a 76 it needed the proper grill. I do however love both grills. Can't go wrong with a dent, no matter what grill.
Big78f150 Your uncles truck looks good. Have any other pics?
Not on this phone. Was up there for a funeral and went to his house to get the bell house and pressure plate for the 390. It was still kinda cold. He paid 500 bucks for it cause the po litterally ripped the entire drivers side off on a tree line while wheeling. He got a lot of money in that thing
