Vintage Nikon lens; 200mm F/4 AI Nikkor (1977-1981)
The AI-S version (1981-1996), is the same optically (don't pay more for one). One of Nikons' best vintage lenses. It's best known for it's extreme sharpness. Gives the classic film era style. One of my favorites, in the collection.
I mistakenly sold my first copy after getting (the superior) 180 AF 2.8 N (one of my very top favs) and had to re-buy one because I missed the handy little bugger.
3 weeks ago in New Orleans. My work van after driving 25 mph in blizzard like conditions for 40 miles. The rear tires were rubbing a perfect circle in the ice that was building up as I drove. White knuckle ride to say the least.
