Multifunction switch write up
You have a different truck. The procedure could be similar or completely different, but likely not the same. Plus, you have an airbag so precautions need to be made or it might go off or set a SRS light.

Thanks. I search with as much detail as I can about my truck but always seem to get 1 or 2 year differences. How many 2000 F150 4x4 XLT 5.4's are out there and wouldn't ya think I'd get a hit on exactly what I have? Any guidance to get exactly what I need would be great. Thanks.............

Thanks again for the procedure, its kinda hard to believe that after 10 years of you creating this thread its still helping people. I just bought this motorhome, of all the things I checked to see if it worked, the brake lights of course weren't one of them. This fixed my brake lights, rear ABS dashboard light, and the cruise control. So thanks again!
A quick follow-up. Who would have ever thought that the brake lights not working could be affected by this switch? I had the problem of no brake lights and sometime operation of the turn signals. The emergency flashers worked but little else. I replaced the multi-function switch using this thread as a guide and SUCCESS!!! Thanks so much for the information.
