break-up means when winter turns to spring, and the snow/ice starts to melt and your truck stays dirty for a month!

The higher tunes will only hurt the tranny if you really beat on the truck. The harder shifts of the 275 are designed to protect the transmission. If you want the best of both worlds then load the 300 tune. I've been running it for about a month now and the power and economy of the 275 are there but it shifts like a dream.
